Hi Yolanda,
Just wanted to let you know that we took "Tasha" to the vet on Friday and she
passed her exam with flying colors. Thought you'd be pleased to know that the
vet said he thought we "got a good one". That she's very nice looking!
She is settling in to the family very nicely. She loves to be around everyone
and is having a fun time with the girls and the other pups. She is so well
adjusted. You guys really did a good job!
Thanks so much for going out of your way to meet us. We really appreciate it
and will keep in touch. Please feel free to email us any time to check on the
baby! she's wonderful!!!
Thanks again,
Leslie

Yolanda:
Hope you had a great Christmas.
Pink female from your AKC litter #XXXXXX, Aug 28, 2003 has become Moriath Isleen.
Attached is a picture of her at 4 mos, our own present from Santa. We are starting leash training. She learns quickly. She sits, comes, stays, fetches, and plays tug-of-war. Still baulks at heel if anything in the area is interesting. That is anything from a stick, bug, squirrel or our resident Sand Hill Cranes. But what can we expect from a puppy her age. She loves playing with our three-year-old grandson, Ricky. Amazingly, she never nips or bites. She is more likely to lick him to death. Moriath is very dainty when taking treats, never grabs. Needless to say, Ricky tries to share everything with her--that is except his power rangers. Even if he picks up a bone of treat she is chewing, she just looks at him and waits to get it back. She is a natural lover. Bob is extremely happy with her. She is developing a fantastic personality. And growing rapidly.
We go back to the Vet in two weeks. We'll keep you posted.

Moriah is now 7 months old, stands 23 inches at shoulder and weighs 60 lb. And she could continue to grow for another two years! She loves jumping and eagerly goes up the wall. We are keeping everything low for another few months, in order to protect her joints.
When off the working lead, she still has two speeds: full tilt or sacked out. Since she has so much energy, I am amazed at how gentle she continues to be, even with very small children. Moriah is very curious and eager to learn. However, she is more independent than any Shepherd we have ever owned. But then, I don't think we own her, she owns us. Her vocabulary is increasing daily.
Attaching some working shots this time. Enjoy.

Hi Yolanda,
I was so happy to hear from you. I've thought about emailing you so many times
but didn't know if you'd rather I didn't. Why am I not surprised that you kept
Chantilly?!!!! We knew the day we saw you with her that you would do that!
Glad she's turned out to be as wonderful as our baby.
Tasha is WONDERFUL!!!! She is such a love that I can't imagine our home
without her. She has such a wonderful, caring personality and a little bit of
a devil too! She's busy all the time, harrassing the other dogs, the children
and trying to get on our laps. She just doesn't realize how big she is!
Definitely want to see her with pups. We haven't done any formal training with
her. Just obedience here at home - we're not planning to go the Schutzhund
route with her. We just want her to be a couch ornament with manners! LOL
Her bark is soooo deep that anyone would be crazy to walk thru our door
uninvited, they just don't realize they would be licked to death!
We had a little scare with her last week though. She was limping one day and
the next day wouldn't put any weight on her right front leg. Her "elbow" was
swollen. Took her to the vet and he was afraid that she had a problem with her
joints because she has grown so big. Turns out that she must have just banged
it up good - probably flopping herself down on the floor to sulk when no one
will play with her. She's fine now - thank goodness!
Anyway, I'll try to get Robert to download a picture of her so you can see how
beautiful she is! I'm not computer savvy so don't know how to do that yet! If
not, I'll mail you one.
Thanks again for getting in touch. I love my baby! Thank you so much!!!!!!!

Dear Yolanda,
I thought you might enjoy this photo of Dallas and his new Daddy.
He's met a lot of different people and he just loves everyone.
He's the most wonderful boy in the world.
He's smart, loving, and already we can tell he has a sense of humor!
He took off this morning with toilet paper he grabbed off the roll and ran around the house with it as though it was a giant streamer!
With all the toys we've already bought him, he still loves the simple pleasures in life the best.
He's been sleeping through the night and tells us when he needs to go out.He hasn't had any accidents in the house and just a while ago he actually went to his leash and nudged it to tell me he needed to go out.
He adores Julep, our senior shepherd, and she's thrilled with him.
Tomorrow is his Doctor's visit and I'll let you know how he does.I'm certain everyone there will just adore him too.
Thank you so much. His wonderful nature is thanks to you and his love of people could only be because his Mommy was so great to him.
My brother is still thinking about Darla, but don't wait on them. They can always send in a deposit for your next litter if someone else falls in love with her first.
I'll get our outstanding paperwork back to you this week.
Thanks again,
Kelly and Dallas

Yolanda,
Please post it, that would be great.
He's such a beautiful boy and you've done such a fantasic job socializing him ,people should know how priviledged they would be to share their lives with one of your puppies.
Thanks,
kelly

Good Morning,
I had to write you and tell you,Dallas figured out last night she has a shadow. She chased it around for about an hour.It was hysterical. The other two just watched her like if she was on some kind of drugs. She is a trip, but she has a personality to die for.My brother keeps telling me she has the personality of a golden retreiver.(his favorite breed). She justs loves being on me.If i'm sitting on the floor, she just runs at me full speed ahead to land in my lap.If all your puppies are like her, there are some happy people out there.Talk to ya soon.

I would not mind at all.As soon as i get some pictures of her,i will send you some.I will give it a couple of weeks, and you can tell me if you think she has changed any.In my bathroom,my closet has two full length mirrors, and she loves to look at herself in there. She keeps walking around the back, trying to figure out where the puppy is.Or maybe shes seeing how beautiful she is,i'm not sure. She has got the doggie door figured out,so now she has run of the house, inside and out.She seems to love it here. And we do love having her.I can't thank you enough.Talk to ya soon.

Hi Yolanda,
How are things going with you.It propably seems like forever since you heard from me,seeing i was sending you notes everyday.Things have been busy here, with me going back to work, and Dallas having run of the house everyday.I needed to see how they were going to do.She has been absoultly great. She only gets into, what i leave out,(shoes). She has just been a delight. This is a nice puppy. She follows me whereever i go,and has to be in the same room as me all the time. She just gets along so well with my other dogs, sometimes i think to well, because if they jumped off a cliff, she would too.But i just love this little puppy. She loves for you to hold her,and even though she is getting too big to be held, she doesn't mind if you try.She is yard trained in my front yard, because the other two are,so she does as they do.I think she knows her name,(even though she just ignores me when i'm correcting her). And she knows to come and sit.Pretty smart for a little girl. She is so pretty.I think she is getting lighter in her face. Her whole forehead is almost red now.She knows she's beautiful because i tell her everyday.I will send you pictures soon.Hope all is well.If i don't talk to you, have a Merry X-mas.
Talk to ya soon.
Debbie

Dear Yolanda,
Thatcher is knocked out from all his Holiday shopping,
He went into Saks Fifth Avenue today on Greenwich Ave and ate at the doggie bar with a lot of his new friends.
He is absolutely the darling of Greenwich Ct., as well he should be!
We finished puppy kindergarten with flying colors and begin Good Manners 1 right after Christmas.
The contract was mailed this week, please let us know if you don't receive it.
Talk to you soon,
Kelly and Thatcher
Another silly picture!
God we love him.
